Übung: Im einseitgen Knien diagonales Kabel ziehen

Primär trainierten Muskelgruppen: Latissimus Dorsi, Serratus Posterior Inferior, Longissimus Thoracis, Iliocostalis Thoracic Spinalis Thoracis, Erector Spinae, Obliques, and Abdomen.
Übungstechnik: The athlete positions themselves in a kneeling stance, where the forward leg is opposite to the cable. For example if the cable is on the left side of the athlete, the right leg is forward, left knee kneeling. The athlete then grasps the Cable handle with their right hand, through an extended arm. The left hand then cups the right, so that both hands are together. Maintaining an extended right arms, the athlete pulls with the right side oblique / core musculature and rotates, holding a vertical torso position, to the right. The athlete then returns to the starting position by maintaining the same angle of rotation.

The kneeling position helps to stabilize the body, and is helpful in isolating the Oblique and Lumbar musculature.
Optionen zur Übung Progression: An athlete can progress or modify the difficulty of this exercise by increasing the weight pressed, increase the speed of the movement, or by changing the repetition and set ratios, and decreasing the duration of recovery between sets and reps.
The cable can be positioned either at a height perpendicular to the athlete's shoulder, or at a height either above or below the athlete's shoulder.  The difference in height, will determine the angle of rotation.

Übung Varianten:

Im stehen diagonales Kabel ziehen
Auf dem BOSU-Ball stehend diagonales Kabel ziehen
